Tanika has proven to be one of the toughest, most reliable landscape plants over the last couple of years. it has filled an ongoing need that previously went unfulfilled.

Landscape architects and contractors needed a plant that was drought tolerant, evergreen in almost all situations (drought and frost), almost indestructible, would out compete weeds, live and look good naturally with practically no care, and most importantly, not grow too tall.

Domestic landscape designers and contractors needed a plant with style, an abundance of spring flowers, the ability to grow in sun and shade, a plant that would generally need no irrigation, except in areas like Perth, where very occasional watering is enough. They needed a plant that will stay evergreen even in Canberra winters, and a plant the public would fall in love with. they needed a plant of the right size that would fit into most gardens. They needed Tanika.
